2014 NFL Draft results: New York Giants land RB Andre Williams; Jags take flier on CB Colvin

The Giants nabbed the 2,000-yard rusher from Boston College in Williams, who averaged 6.1 yards per carry in the 2013 season.

Round 4 of the NFL Draft got underway Saturday, with the New York Giants landing Boston College Eagles running back Andre Williams with 113th overall pick. Williams finished the 2013 season with 2,177 yards on 6.1 yards per carry. New York is hoping that the 6-foot, 227-pound running back can provide a power running game between the tackles.

With the following pick -- No. 114 -- the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Oklahoma Sooners cornerback Aaron Colvin. The Sooners' standout is notable for having torn his ACL in Senior Bowl practices, and scouts wondered how the injury would affect his draft stock. Colvin was excluded from the NFL Combine due to the injury.

A number of defensive backs found a home early in Round 4. Four cornerbacks and one safety were taken, highlighted by Colvin and Florida Gators corner Jaylen Watkins, taken by the Philadelphia Eagles to open the fourth round. Watkins is the brother of No. 4 overall selection Sammy Watkins.

On the other side of the ball, a trio of receivers went off the board. Oklahoma's Jalen Saunders was drafted by the New York Jets, while the San Francisco 49ers selected Bruce Ellington of the South Carolina Gamecocks . Ellington was a two-way standout, starting at point guard for South Carolina's basketball team. The Jets added another receiver at pick No. 115, grabbing Shaquelle Evans of the UCLA Bruins .
