NFL Draft results 2014: Zach Mettenberger, David Fales off the board in 6th

A pair of talented quarterbacks are off the board in the sixth round.

We're into the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, and some of the sliding players are starting to go. Perhaps the biggest name to go early on in the sixth round is former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger. He was selected by the Tennessee Titans at pick No. 178, the second pick in the sixth round.

Mettenberger may end up being the starter of the future for the Titans. Tennessee has Jake Locker, who got off to a strong start last season, but eventually went down with injuries. Said injuries have been a recurring issue for Locker, which is where Mettenberger has the best shot of getting playing time. If he gets some time in his rookie season and plays well, that job could end up being his. Most figured he'd go earlier than he did.

Fellow quarterback David Fales found himself going to the Chicago Bears with the No. 183 overall pick of the draft. Fales is considered a guy who could wind up starting down the line, and if he manages to secure a roster spot, he could end up being the primary backup to Jay Cutler. Here's picks 176-190 below:
