Seahawks visit the White House, take selfies with Abe Lincoln

The Super Bowl champs took their visit to the White House on Wednesday and the trip included a lot of pictures.

There's been a tradition in the last 30 years or so for sports champions to take a visit to the White House to meet the President. The Seattle Seahawks, fresh off their Super Bowl victory, continued that tradition on Wednesday with their trip to meet President Barack Obama.

So what happens when more than 50 players put on nice suits and head to the White House? Pictures, a lot of pictures. Seattle players took to their Twitter and Instagram accounts to post pictures of the visit. Stand outside, take a picture; sit on a nice couch, take a picture; sit on the floor, take a picture then too:

A few players also took the opportunity to snap a picture with a former president. Abraham Lincoln was a popular selfie partner:

Former president Bill Clinton also joined some pictures:

Eventually, the team met the current president. President Obama praised the team, received Seattle 12th man flag and even made a joke about general manager John Schneider's championship belt. The President also joked about Marshawn Lynch's "approach to the press" and how long Richard Sherman would have talked if given the microphone. President Obama highlighted some of the obstacles various players have overcome, signaling out Russell Wilson, Sherman and Derrick Coleman.

Pete Carroll spoke briefly and the trip ended with what else, more pictures.
