Andre Johnson does not know where he will be playing football this year. Johnson, the career statistical leader in almost every receiving category for a Houston Texans, told NFL Network's Marcus Smith at a Nike event that he is not sure whether he will be with the Texans come Week 1, according to Ian Rapoport. Johnson added that he hopes to be at training camp but would not commit.

Johnson has made it known that he is not pleased with the organization's offseason. Since the end of last season -- which saw the Texans finish 2-14 -- former head coach Gary Kubiak was fired and quarterback Matt Schaub was dealt to the Oakland Raiders. General manager Rick Smith then brought in Bill O'Brien to replace Kubiak and signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to start behind center.
Johnson has not stated he wants a trade to get him out of Houston, but the implications are obvious. The former star at the University of Miami skipped all of the OTAs along with mandatory minicamp.
If Smith decides to deal Johnson, it is not likely to bring back a major haul. Johnson turns 33 years old on Friday and has a large contract with three years and $31.5 million remaining in base salary. However, Johnson could be cut in 2016 and save his team $12 million with only $2 million in dead money against the cap.
Entering his 11th NFL season, Johnson has amassed staggering numbers with 12,661 yards and 61 touchdowns on 927 receptions. Throughout his career, the Texans have struggled for the most part, only making the playoffs twice and winning two postseason games. Despite a disastrous season for the team in 2013, Johnson still produced at an elite level with 109 catches, 1,407 yards and five touchdowns.
