Arizona’s John Abraham was arrested for DUI
The linebacker was arrested last month in Atlanta and charged with multiple counts.

A Cardinals spokesperson said the team is aware of the arrest while Arizona head coach Bruce Arians said Abraham “has my blessings” for his absence. The 36-year-old Abraham could face punishment from the NFL related to the arrest in the form or a fine or possibly a suspension.
According to Chris Wesseling of NFL.com, this is the third time Abraham has been arrested since joining the NFL and his second for DUI. He was charged with DUI in 2003 after a car accident in Long Island, New York. He was arrested in 2012 and charged with two counts of misdemeanor obstruction after allegedly refusing to leave an area taped off by police, according to ESPN.com.
Abraham is heading into his second season with the Cardinals. He recorded 11.5 sacks last season and was selected to the Pro Bowl for the fifth time in his career.
