Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris will return to practice after passing his physical and being removed from the Physically Unable to Perform list, per Aaron Wilson.
Chris Harris passes physical, returns from PUP list for Broncos
The Broncos hope Harris returns to form alongside new additions like Bradley Roby and Aqib Talib in their new secondary.
Harris was coming back from a torn ACL he suffered against the San Diego Chargers in mid-January during the team's Super Bowl run. While the Seattle Seahawks dominated the Broncos in the Super Bowl, it didn't help that Harris was out as one of the team's starting corners.
Harris had successful surgery in February and the Broncos certainly hope that he will return to form. However, the team can also ease him in after signing veteran free agent Aqib Talib and drafting Bradley Roby in the offseason. The Broncos lost their other starting cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to the New York Giants in free agency. Champ Bailey was released in a salary cap crunch and signed with the New Orleans Saints.
Harris started 15 games for the Broncos last year and had 60 tackles and three interceptions. He has seven career interceptions in 31 starts in his three-year career.
