Cleveland Browns safety Donte Whitner challenged former Buffalo Bills legend Darryl Talley to a boxing match on Twitter after some words were exchanged following Whitner making some Bills relocation jokes. Whitner originally was ranting about the NFL Top 100 and about how players don’t actually vote on it, which has been a running complaint.
Donte Whitner challenges Darryl Talley to boxing match
Donte Whitner went on a Twitter tirade making fun of the NFL Top 100, Bills relocation jokes and challenged Darryl Talley to a fight.

It quickly changed to Whitner taking shots at Bills fans, however.
Wonder how you Bills fans gonna feel when the team is moved? LOL
— DonteHitner (@DonteWhitner) July 4, 2014 Can you say Toronto Bills?!?!?!?!
— DonteHitner (@DonteWhitner) July 4, 2014 The wife of former Bills linebacker Darryl Talley responded to Whitner, who was drafted in the Top 10 of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Bills and spent five disappointing seasons with the team. Whitner fired back at Talley’s wife, Janine, which led to Darryl jumping in to take a shot at Whitner.
@DonteWhitner When u come out the tunnel in November look up and left. U'll never see ur name there or anywhere.
— Darryl Talley (@DarrylTalley) July 4, 2014 Whitner then began joking about the Bills moving to Toronto after Bills fans got on him for a comment stemming from Bills first-round pick Sammy Watkins saying he was looking forward to playing the Browns, who passed on him in the 2014 NFL Draft.
There were also comments by Darryl Talley scolding Whitner for talking about his daughter, but those tweets from Whitner have seemingly been deleted, but also led to Talley getting very aggressive and Whitner challenging him to a boxing match, which isn't a new thing for Whitner.
@DonteWhitner I'll have a grip around ur mother fucking throat. U have no idea how far my reach will reach. Bitch.
— Darryl Talley (@DarrylTalley) July 4, 2014 I don’t know if that’s an acceptance by Talley, but it’s unlikely the two would actually box anyway.
