New York Giants defensive lineman Jason Pierre-Paul left Friday night's game against the New York Jets with an apparent right leg injury. Pierre-Paul walked off the field under his own power and went to the sidelines with trainers and doctors for further evaluation. After being looked at, Pierre-Paul remained on the sideline, and his return is uncertain.
Giants DL Jason Pierre-Paul leaves with apparent leg injury
Pierre-Paul had to exit in the first quarter, favoring his right leg after his foot got stuck in the MetLife Stadium turf.

Pierre-Paul is one of the men that head coach Tom Coughlin is depending on to help get the Giants into the playoffs for the first time since the 2011 season. Pierre-Paul only played 11 games last season, dealing with a back injury that limited his production to only 27 tackles and a pair of sacks.
In 2011, Pierre-Paul was arguably the best defensive player in the NFL. Helping New York to the franchise’s fourth Super Bowl title, the former University of South Florida star notched a career-high 16.5 sacks with a pair of forced fumbles.
