Richie Incognito will visit Buccaneers, per report
Tampa Bay is desperate for offensive line help and is looking into a controversial player.

The Buccaneers face issues along the offensive interior as the regular season nears, and Incognito is a talented player who could fill a need. However, the drama surrounding Incognito in the wake of last season’s bullying investigation is not yet quelled. If the Bucs want to sign him, they will need the NFL’s permission to play him.
Keep in mind as Richie Incognito visits Bucs: He is not yet fully reinstated to play regular season. That’s been month-long sticking point.
— Jeff Darlington (@JeffDarlington) August 25, 2014 Incognito spent the last four seasons with the Miami Dolphins, appearing in 55 games during that span. The former University of Nebraska star was forced out of Miami after he was involved in a highly publicized bullying scandal with teammate Jonathan Martin in 2012. Incognito was ultimately suspended by the Dolphins for several games and let go in the offseason.
Tampa Bay is very thin at guard, although it did bolster the position by trading with the Kansas City Chiefs for reserve Rishaw Johnson last week. Currently, Oniel Cousins and Jamon Meredith are the starting guards after Carl Nicks was forced to retire following a prolonged battle with toe injuries and MRSA. Fifth-round draft pick Kadeem Edwards and Patrick Omameh are other options on the roster.
