How to watch Jets vs. Eagles 2014 online, TV schedule, radio and more

Michael Vick and Mark Sanchez both face their old teams on Thursday. How will they do in their final preseason tuneups?

Michael Vick is one of the most notable players in the NFL, but over the offseason he went from the backup in Philly to the backup in New York. He will get his first chance to play against a former employer since his final game with the Atlanta Falcons back on New Year's Eve in 2006 when the New York Jets play the Philadelphia Eagles in the preseason finale.

This past week, Jets head coach Rex Ryan officially named Geno Smith as New York's starter. The announcement came as a surprise to nobody, including Vick, who had conceded the job long ago.

Vick has completed 12-of-20 pass attempts during this preseason with a QB rating of 110.8, while Smith is 23-of-34 for a rating of 89.1. But Smith has managed himself well and the team hopes he can avoid throwing the 21 interceptions he tossed last year. If the mistakes pile up, it won’t take long for Vick to be back under center as he was at the beginning of last year with Philadelphia.

However, despite Vick playing well under Chip Kelly with the Eagles, his injury opened the door for Nick Foles to put up incredible numbers in Kelly's offense: 27 touchdowns and only two interceptions. Foles has already thrown three interceptions during the preseason this year, but he will likely move out of the way on Thursday in favor of backups Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley as they vie for the backup job.

Of course, Vick isn’t the only QB facing his old team. Sanchez, who has had an excellent preseason thus far, is playing his first NFL season with a team other than the Jets. If given an opportunity, can he play as well for Kelly as Vick did? And can Vick play as well for Ryan as he did for Kelly?
