Seahawks, Broncos delayed due to lightning
Lightning within eight miles of a preseason game between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos has forced an indefinite delay.

Both teams were sent to the locker room and the Broncos issued a statement that lightning strikes occurred within the eight-mile limit of the stadium.
Prior to the delay, the two teams finished the first 13:30 of the first quarter, with the Broncos carrying a 7-0 lead. The majority of the action in the quarter was dominated by Denver, as they executed 19 plays, including 13 passes from Peyton Manning. The Seahawks only recorded four plays on offense, including two passes from Russell Wilson that were both incomplete.
The Broncos later announced that the teams could return to the field at 10:05 p.m. ET with play resuming 10 minutes later at 10:15 p.m.
