Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is "ready to roll," according to head coach Andy Reid, via Tom Pelissero of USA Today. Bowe was absent from Week 1 due to a suspension, but was activated from the reserved/suspended list on Tuesday.
Dwayne Bowe’s finger injury ‘isn’t an issue,’ has plenty of fantasy value for Week 2
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is healthy heading into his first game of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reid’s quote is in reference to a finger injury he was dealing with throughout camp. Bowe did not look good in camp and part of that could certainly be blamed on a finger injury.
Whatever the case, the report says that Bowe’s finger “isn’t an issue.” That’s good, as the Chiefs clearly struggled on offense last weekend and Bowe’s presence might improve the situation, even if he’s on the decline. Bowe hasn’t reached 1,000 yards since 2011, and had just 57 catches for 673 yards and five touchdowns last season.
Fantasy Impact: Bowe was once a WR1 fantasy option but he's just not there anymore. He's on the decline and Alex Smith isn't the kind of quarterback who allows receivers to become fantasy powerhouses. He's still got his value, though, and the news that his finger injury from before isn't bothering him should be welcomed by fantasy owners who need a little help out of the position.
