Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo didn't have what we'd call a "solid opener." Romo threw three interceptions against the San Francisco 49ers, a team that was without both starting cornerbacks for much of the game and by the end of it was starting two rookies in the secondary when they were in the nickel. One of Romo's interceptions was almost defensible since he was under pressure; even in the red zone. The other two, though, came when he had plenty of time in the pocket.
Tony Romo hoping for bounce-back game on Sunday; should have fantasy value
Tony Romo has a history of bouncing back from bad games. We break down the fantasy implications.

Romo didn’t have much of a training camp or a preseason due to his injuries, and many think that this played a factor in his poor play on Sunday. Whatever the case, there’s an interesting stat regarding Romo and his propensity for bouncing back after terrible games. In nine games following outings where he was picked off three or more times, he’s thrown for 2,344 yards with 13 touchdowns and just seven picks, according to Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Star-Telegram.
Fantasy Impact: Hill gives us a solid stat, and its probably the only thing that Romo owners (and Cowboys fans) have to be excited about right now. Romo's debut was miserable, but he's got multiple top-flight receiving options and that's no reason to suspect that he can't bounce back with another solid outing when the Cowboys play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
