Chiefs vs. Broncos odds 2014: Peyton Manning and Denver are heavy favorites
Denver looks to beat Kansas City for the fifth consecutive time in this rivalry.

In Denver’s last seven games, the total has surprisingly gone UNDER five times. On the road, the Chiefs have proven tough in their previous nine contests, covering the spread seven times. Despite going 7-1 at home in the regular season last year, the Broncos have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five home games. For Kansas City, the point total has been OVER in six of its last eight games.
Denver looked solid in its Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football, topping Andrew Luck and the Colts, 31-24. Peyton Manning did not have a particularly impressing showing but was good enough, hitting on 22-of-36 passing for 269 yards. Manning also threw three touchdowns, all to tight end Julius Thomas.
Kansas City might have put forth the most disappointing effort of Week 1, earning a 26-10 drubbing at home to the Tennessee Titans. Alex Smith threw three interceptions while Jamaal Charles only touched the ball 11 times in defeat. Derrick Johnson and Mike DeVito were also lost for the season, both going down with torn Achilles tendons.
