Seattle looked like the best team in football in its first showing after the Super Bowl, and it looks to build on that performance against San Diego.

Seattle is aiming to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the 2004 New England Patriots. The Seahawks got off to a fine start, beating Green Bay 36-16 behind Marshawn Lynch. Lynch rushed for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Russell Wilson threw for 191 yards and two scores. The defense was led by Michael Bennett who recorded two of the team's three sacks.
San Diego opens at home looking for its first victory of 2014. The Chargers took a 17-6 lead into the fourth quarter on Monday night against the Arizona Cardinals before giving up 12 unanswered points. Philip Rivers was uneven against a tough Arizona secondary, completing 21 of 36 passes for 238 yards with a touchdown and interception. San Diego also struggled to rush the ball, gaining 52 yards on 24 carries.
