The Lions put on an offensive show last week. Can Cam Newton do the same against Detroit in week two?


The Lions had a solid week one in their dismantling of the New York Giants. The offense jumped out to a quick early lead, thanks to the play of Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson. The offense went to work again in the second half and the defense stayed strong, helping Detroit win easily, 35-14. Coming off a disappointing season, the Lions look like they have all the tools to be successful once again, while the Panthers will look to keep building off the momentum of a solid 2013.
