The Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts both struggled at times in Week 1, but the Eagles managed to escape with a victory while the Colts are 0-1. Then again, the Eagles were playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the worst teas in the league, while the Colts were up against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
NFL picks and predictions, Week 2: Eagles vs. Colts
The Colts lost to a good team and the Eagles almost lost to a bad team. Who will when when they face off in Week 2?

That's a pretty significant disparity between teams. Philadelphia's struggles against the Jaguars included a point in which they trailed by three scores. Chad Henne and Allen Hurns were dominating the Philadelphia defense and a truly terrible upset was on their hands. But Nick Foles battled back and led the Eagles on multiple scoring drives, ultimately overcoming the Jaguars.
Indianapolis, on the other hand, couldn't get things going against the Broncos before Andrew Luck got hot and pulled the team within one score, but time simply ran out. Despite losing, it was a much more impressive showing for the Colts than it was for the Eagles.
It seems like the experts primarily agree. Over at CBS Sports, seven of the eight experts picked the Colts to win, with Jason La Canfora being the lone dissenter. It’s a similar situation over at ESPN, though they have four of their 13 experts going with the Eagles over the Colts. Both of the experts with Yahoo! Sports picked the Colts to win.
SB Nation’s experts felt a little differently, as it happened. Four of the seven picking went with the Eagles:

Only three of the experts, and that’s including PFT COmmenter, went with the Colts to best the Eagles. The Colts are favored by Vegas to win this one, with an opening line at -2.5 in favor of the Colts, according to OddsShark. That line has only barely moved, with some books having the Colts favored by a field goal.
