The Green Bay Packers are searching for their first win of the 2014 NFL season and hopes to get it Sunday against the New York Jets at Lambeau Field. The Packers lost the season opener at Seattle, where the Seahawks stifled their offense and trampled their defense in a 36-16 defeat. The Jets are 1-0 after topping the Oakland Raiders behind a superb effort by Geno Smith and the rushing attack.
How to watch Jets vs. Packers 2014: Time, TV schedule and online streaming
One team tries to rebound while another hopes to pull an upset to stay unblemished.

Green Bay made the playoffs last season with an 8-7-1 mark, winning the NFC North despite losing Aaron Rodgers for seven games with a broken clavicle. Rodgers is looking to bounce back from a tough night in Seattle, where the Legion of Boom held him to 189 yards on 33 pass attempts. Rodgers could be without running back Eddie Lacy, who is recovering from a concussion.
Luckily for New York, the offense looked promising against Oakland. Smith completed 23-of-28 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown while the ground attack churned out a league-best 212 yards in Week 1. Chris Ivory led the way with 102 yards on 10 carries, followed by veteran Chris Johnson totaling 68 rushing yards. The Packers had major issues stopping the run, allowing 207 rushing yards in their loss to Seattle.

Nuts and Bolts
It will be interesting to see what types of exotic blitz packages Rex Ryan calls against Green Bay. The Packers are without right tackle Bryan Bulaga who sustained an MCL injury versus Seattle. With Bulaga out, Green Bay will start Derek Sherrod. Sherrod struggled badly in Week 1, with the Seahawks getting to Rodgers for three sacks. New York does not have a top-tier pass-rusher but it creates pressure well with overloads and all-out blitzes up the middle.
The Packers should have an easier time throwing the ball against a Jets secondary which lacks both top-shelf talent and experience. Second-year cornerback Dee Milliner is still nursing an ankle injury and is questionable for Sunday, leavingAntonio Allen, Kyle Wilson and Darrin Walls as the top corners.
