Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery have been marked active for Sunday's game between the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers, in somewhat surprising news. Earlier in the day, reports indicated that both Bears wideouts would be forced to sit out against the Niners on Sunday Night Football.
Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery marked active for Bears vs. 49ers
In a surprise, it appears that the Bears will be able to use both Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery on Sunday against the 49ers.

Having both players in the lineup will be a significant boost to the Bears’ offense, though it’s unclear how effective they will be coming off injuries that very nearly relegated them to the bench. Marshall is dealing with an ankle injury, while Jeffery has a hamstring issue. Both were listed as questionable heading into the weekend.
If either player is still limited, expect Santonio Holmes to receive an increase in targets. Marquess Wilson, who is ostensibly the Bears' No. 3 wideout, will miss the game while still recovering from a broken collarbone. The Bears had to promote two players from the practice squad this week to give the roster a serviceable number of bodies.
