Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green could be out until early October, per a report from the Bengals' website.
A.J. Green could be out until Week 5 with toe injury
The Bengals wide receiver went down early against the Falcons on Sunday.

It appears that A.J. Green won't be lost for a long period of time and if he doesn't play next Sunday against Tennessee, indications are he had a negative MRI and he'll be ready after the bye week for the Oct. 5 game in New England. He wasn't on crutches with his right toe injury and watched the last three quarters of Sunday's 24-10 victory over Atlanta on the sideline.
The fourth-year receiver left early in the first quarter of the team's Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons and did not return.
Green, 26, suffered a foot injury earlier in the year, but was listed as probable and eventually active against the Falcons in Week 2. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the toe injury suffered by Green in the first quarter of the Bengals' game on Sunday was a reaggravation of the same injury.
Following the game, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reported that an MRI for Green was negative and that the recovery for the receiver likely won’t be a long one.
In the three years since Green was selected fourth overall by the Bengals in the 2011 NFL Draft, he has missed just one game and has been selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls. The sole game missed by Green in his career was a Week 11 matchup in his rookie season, which the Bengals lost, 31-24, to the Baltimore Ravens.
Sunday was the first game of Green’s career that he started and did not record a reception, although that’s not surprising considering his departure came during Cincinnati’s first offensive series. In the season opener for the Bengals, Green tallied six receptions for 131 yards, including a 77-yard go-ahead touchdown in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
