NFL picks and predictions 2014: Vikings vs. Saints
Saints are a heavy favorite to beat the Vikings at the Superdome on Sunday.

Not only do the Saints get to face a Vikings team without its superstar running back, but they also are back home at the Superdome, where they haven't lost since 2012. Minnesota was dominated in its first game without Adrian Peterson, losing 30-7 to the Patriots. Fill-in starter Matt Asiata rushed for just 36 yards on 13 carries, but Matt Cassel didn't help either with four interceptions.
Despite a win at St. Louis in Week 1, the Vikings have struggled on the road recently. Their 4-12-1 road record since 2012 ranks 29th in the league, and they went all of last season without a win away from home.
This game looks like a big mismatch on paper and the experts agree. Everyone at CBS Sports, ESPN, and Yahoo! Sports is picking the Saints to beat the Vikings.
Only one of SB Nation’s experts, PFT Commenter, has Minnesota pulling off the upset at New Orleans.
