Atlanta Falcons receiver/returner Devin Hester left late in the second quarter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with an apparent leg injury. Jay Adams, a Falcons employee, has tweeted that Hester is cramping and that his return is questionable. The good news is Hester was able to walk off the field under his own power before going to the locker room.

The Falcons receiver/returner went to the locker room early with a leg ailment.

The Falcons have certainly benefited from signing Hester in the offseason, and he shined on Thursday night. The 31-year-old broke the all-time return touchdown record earlier in the second quarter on a 62-yard punt return. Hester high-stepped it in for the final 10 yards, paying homage to Deion Sanders, the previous record-holder. Sanders is in the building as an analyst for NFL Network.
Hester also scored on the first play of the second quarter, going virtually untouched for a 20-yard rushing touchdown. This season Hester has six catches for 101 yards.
The Falcons are leading the Buccaneers 35-0 at halftime.
