NFL picks and predictions, Ravens vs. Browns 2014: Vegas can’t find a favorite
In this AFC North tilt, two teams looking to get over .500 battle it out.

Around the circuit, many experts believe the Ravens will be the team improving to 2-1. Over at ESPN, only four of 13 picked the Browns to hold serve at home. Will Brinson and Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports were the only two experts from that eight-man panel to side with Cleveland. NFL.com gives us more of a split, with three of five rolling with the Ravens.
Cleveland comes in after toppling the New Orleans Saints 26-24 in an upset at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Browns were aided by a defensive touchdown, making up for Brian Hoyer's line of 24-of-40 passing and 204 yards. Baltimore has had extra time to prepare for Sunday, having played last on Thursday in a 26-6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens dominated the contest with over 35 minutes of possession time.
Baltimore has struggled on the road, losing four of its last five dating back to 2013. However, the Ravens have absolutely owned the Browns, winning 11 of the last 12 matchups. Despite being known more for defense, Cleveland’s contests have gone OVER in five of its previous seven games.
A key battle to watch will be the Baltimore receivers against the Cleveland secondary. The Browns have safety Donte Whitner and corners Justin Gilbert and Joe Haden, but rank 29th against the pass. The Ravens will challenge those corners with Steve Smith and Torrey Smith, two of the best deep threats in football.
