San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen is officially listed as questionable heading into Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. Allen is dealing with a groin injury that had him limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. The questionable designation is supposed to denote a 50 percent chance to play, though Allen's chances seem to be a bit higher than that.
Keenan Allen, Vernon Davis, Dez Bryant among players listed as questionable for Week 3
Keenan Allen and Vernon Davis are both questionable, but are expected to play on Sunday. Eric Berry and Carson Palmer are among those declared out. Read on for more.

The prolific receiver has been solid through two games thus far, catching 10 passes for 92 yards, but he’s yet to find the end zone. Still, with Rivers throwing the football, Allen one of the more dangerous receivers in the league. This is a new injury, so we don’t know the exact severity, but it still seems likely he’ll play.
There’s plenty of other injury news to pay attention to heading into Sunday’s slate of games.
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is listed as questionable for the matchup against the NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals. Davis is dealing with ankle and knee injuries after taking a big hit against the Chicago Bears in Week 2. He was replaced by Derek Carrier, the third-string tight end, because Vance McDonald is also banged up. Davis is possibly Colin Kaepernick's top receiving option and his potential loss would be a big deal given the struggles of that offense in a losing effort against Chicago in Week 2.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant also carries the questionable designation, though his is due to a shoulder injury. The Cowboys are up against the St. Louis Rams, a team that has struggled big time on the defensive side of the ball. Bryant would be missing out on a potentially huge game if he were to not suit up. But it sounds like the questionable designation is used rather loosely here, as he's expected to play after being limited in practice the past two days.
Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry has been ruled out for the Week 3 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Berry has an ankle injury that he sustained in last Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos. He hasn't been cleared to practice at this point, so it's not surprising to see that he's been ruled out. He's considered week-to-week at this point and will probably be targeting a Week 4 return.
Also with the Chiefs, running back Jamaal Charles has a slightly better prognosis. After some initial reports suggested he could miss a few games due to an ankle sprain, Charles surprisingly returned to practice on Thursday and again on Friday. He's now listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. There's no way Charles will be 100 percent for that game if he does manage to play, and the Dolphins have been pretty solid defensively thus far.
Add Houston Texans running back Arian Foster to the list of questionable players this week. Foster is dealing with a hamstring injury and may not play against the New York Giants. Many expect him to play, but you never know with a hamstring injury. It's one of those injuries that can go from minor to severe if a player doesn't give it enough time to heal. Whatever the case, if Foster is confident that he's given it enough time, he could play against the Giants. He's got an extensive injury history, which is cause for concern. Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes will carry the load if Foster can't go.
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was declared out on Friday due to a shoulder injury. It's a nerve injury, and the Cardinals essentially have to wait it out given that Palmer has been trying everything to remedy the situation. That means Drew Stanton will get another start. The Cardinals, over the past two weeks and all throughout last season, managed to thrive despite injuries and general instability. They've got a tough matchup in the 49ers on Sunday, however.
