Ben Roethlisberger and Cam Newton face off on Sunday Night Football.

The Steelers are licking their wounds following a 26-6 undressing at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens, a game in which their offense turned the ball over three times. Refocusing on the ground game of tailback Le'Veon Bell should help Pittsburgh get back on track.
Of course, that assumes that the Steelers can run on Carolina's stout defense. Through two games, the Panthers have allowed only 21 points, including a near shutout of the high-powered Detroit Lions passing game. Another week removed from his rib injury, Newton could have a big game against Pittsburgh's inconsistent defense.

Nuts and bolts
In his second year, Bell has played like the dynamic power back he was at Michigan State. His 168 yards on the ground are nearly matched by his receiving totals; on 11 catches, he has gone for 136 yards. Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh's other playmaker on offense, has produced 206 receiving yards on 12 catches, an average of 17.2. They'll both need to play well to make up for the team's defense, which has yielded 56 points during the first two weeks of the season.
After years of the running game powering the Carolina offense, the ground attack has stalled in 2014. While DeAngelo Williams still shows signs of life at 31, longtime running mate Jonathan Stewart has gained only 57 yards on 24 carries. Similarly, fullback Mike Tolbert has collected just six yards on his 11 carries. Both need to break out of their slump for the Panthers to stay undefeated.
