NFL Week 3 schedule: TV and online streaming options for Sunday

Few games will be more hyped this season than the Super Bowl rematch. Other games such as 49ers-Cardinals and Lions-Packers also capture the imagination.

The NFL has not had smooth sailing off the field this season, but the on-field product has still been excellent. The Week 3 schedule kicked off on Thursday with the Atlanta Falcons embarrassing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 56-14, and continues Sunday with perhaps our best slate of games yet.

Without question, the most intriguing matchup is the Super Bowl rematch between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. Denver was a slight favorite at MetLife Stadium in February, only to be waxed 43-8. This time around, the Seahawks are enjoying home-field advantage and are favored by five points, per OddsShark. Seattle is coming off a loss against the San Diego Chargers, while the Broncos are 2-0 following wins over the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs.

Another late-afternoon game to watch is an NFC West showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals. Arizona is leading the division at 2-0 and is expected to have Carson Palmer back in the lineup after he missed last week with an ailing right shoulder. The defense has led the way, ranked third against the run with 66.5 yards allowed per game. The 49ers are 1-1 following a tough 28-20 defeat to the Chicago Bears. Colin Kaepernick struggled, throwing two interceptions while the defense surrendered 21 unanswered points.

Over in the NFC North, the Detroit Lions welcome the Green Bay Packers into Ford Field. Both teams are 1-1 with prolific offenses and average defenses, lending to an exciting contest. Matthew Stafford is third in the NFL with 637 passing yards, while Calvin Johnson has enjoyed a great start with 247 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. For Green Bay, receiver Jordy Nelson has been the offensive star with 292 yards and a score. Defensively, the Packers are sixth against the pass but next-to-last facing the run.
