DeSean Jackson will play in his return to Philadelphia, as the Washington receiver is active for the team’s Week 3 game against the Eagles, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
DeSean Jackson will play vs. Eagles
Despite suffering a shoulder injury in Week 2, Washington’s DeSean Jackson will play in his return to Philadelphia.

Jackson, 27, was injured early in Washington's 41-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and was helped to the locker room. He did not return to the game and finished the day with just one 19-yard reception after racking up eight receptions in Week 1. Jackson sat out practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but participated on a limited basis on Friday and was listed as questionable in the final injury report.
Following six seasons with the Eagles, including three trips to the Pro Bowl, Jackson was released by the team in March and signed with Washington less than a week later.
While Jackson will be in the lineup for Washington, it will be Kirk Cousins delivering him the ball, as Robert Griffin III suffered a dislocated ankle in Week 2.
