Danny Woodhead suffers ankle injury, out vs. Bills
Danny Woodhead had to be carted off the field Sunday with what appears to be a serious ankle injury.

The injury leaves the Chargers' running back corps especially thin. San Diego was already missing Ryan Mathews due to a knee injury. The Chargers will have to rely on Donald Brown almost exclusively. Branden Oliver, an undrafted rookie out of Buffalo, is the only other running back listed on the 53-man roster.
Woodhead left the game before he could get going. He had just one touch, a one-yard carry, and had yet to be targeted in the passing game. He has emerged as a key contributor to the Chargers’ offense, particularly as a third-down pass catcher. Fortunately for San Diego, Brown is a proven weapon on the ground and through the air, and has the skill set to replicate Woodhead’s role on his own.
Alex Marvez of Fox Sports believes the injury could be serious:
I'm hearing likely high ankle sprain (best case) or fracture (worst case) for @Chargers RB Danny Woodhead.
