The home of San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald was burglarized on Saturday night, San Jose police told KTVU.
Ray McDonald’s home burglarized, police say
Police were once again called to the embattled 49ers defensive end’s residence, but this time it was in response to a break-in while McDonald was in Arizona for a game.

McDonald, who is one of the several notable NFL players facing domestic abuse charges, was in Arizona preparing for a Sunday game against the Cardinals. The vacant house was robbed of valuables, most of which were electronics.
The residence has been a frequent stop for police in recent months. McDonald was arrested there on Aug. 31 on felony domestic violence charges after law enforcement officers found visible injuries to his fiancee. Last week, news broke that police had been called to the residence for a domestic violence issue once before in late May, though no arrests were made. A unnamed woman, presumed to be McDonald’s fiancee, was found holding a handgun when police arrived on scene.
While notable domestic offenders Greg Hardy and Adrian Peterson have been deactivated by their respective teams, the 49ers have yet to take McDonald off the field. He started at left end against the Cardinals.
