Following Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti's press conference earlier on Monday to address the recent Outside the Lines report on the Ray Rice case, head coach John Harbaugh met with the media to provide his response to the report and answer questions. He told the media that he was "(not) too involved" in the situation at this point.
Ravens HC John Harbaugh responds to OTL report
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh followed his owner in meeting with the media Monday to discuss the recent report from “Outside the Lines.”

ESPN's report claims that the Ravens created a highly detailed plan to keep running back Ray Rice from a lengthy suspension. These allegations were denied by Bisciotti, who claimed today during his press conference that the sources ESPN used are lying to help build a case for Rice's reinstatement.
After discussing his team’s win Sunday over the Cleveland Browns, Harbaugh commented on the Outside the Lines report:
On how the Ravens handled the Ray Rice case:
“I don’t know. It’s not something I’m too involved in right now ... we try our best to get better.”
“If that’s the motivation for all of us, that’s a good thing. Let that be our motivation.”
“Steve’s been a phenomenal leader ... He’s loved in this building ... Like a kid brother I want to get a pat on the back from him.”
On Harbaugh’s relationship with the players:
“It’s not hard. Without getting into specifics, you care about people. In football you get close. It’s a very intense world we live in. There are a lot of challenges. It’s a microcosm of life ... We are a family. We have friendships for life through this ... But you balance that with the facts and try to be fair.”
The report from ESPN’s Outside the Lines, released Friday, cited sources who claimed that Harbaugh lobbied for the team to cut Rice as soon as the first video, of Rice dragging his then-fiancee out of the elevator, was released by TMZ. Harbaugh denied that in a statement released by the team on Monday refuting the ESPN report.
