The Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) are the only team in NFL history to win each of its first three games after trailing by double digits in all three. They'll try to prove that they are more than just "lucky" to be undefeated, taking on a San Francisco 49ers (1-2) team this week that is looking to avoid its third straight loss.
Eagles vs. 49ers 2014: Game time, live streaming, TV schedule and more
The Eagles look to remain perfect with a win over the 49ers on the road.

Philly is off to its first 3-0 start since 2004 thanks to a high-powered offense and a defense that has gotten just enough stops late in the game to preserve each of the three wins. Nick Foles threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 3 victory, and showed incredible toughness in overcoming several hard hits by the Washington defense.
Are the 49ers in panic mode yet? After back-to-back losses in which it held a lead at halftime, San Francisco really needs a win this week to avoid falling out of the NFC West race. Colin Kaepernick passed for 245 yards and led the team with 54 yards rushing against the Arizona Cardinals, but an unbalanced offense (24 rushes, 37 pass attempts) doomed the 49ers in their loss on Sunday.

Nuts and Bolts
The Eagles and 49ers are on two completely different trajectories. Philly is flying high with three wins in three games to start the season; San Francisco is reeling after two consecutive losses following its season-opening win. The Eagles have started slow and had to overcome double-digit deficits in every game; the 49ers have blown halftime leads in each of their two defeats and have been outscored by 49 points in the second half.
Philadelphia is in the drivers seat in the NFC East with a 3-0 record, including a win over division rival Washington last week. The playoffs appear to be a lock now -- 75 percent of the teams since 1990 that won their first three games of the season have made the postseason.
San Francisco is looking to bounce back from a 1-2 start for the second season in a row. In 2013, the team won 11 of its final 13 games and is hoping for a repeat performance this year, starting with a win over the Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
