Shortly after news broke that Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers was arrested for a DUI on Sunday night, coach Chuck Pagano announced in a Monday press conference that Rogers has been released, according to Mike Chappell of RTV6.
Da’Rick Rogers released by Colts after DUI arrest
The wide receiver was reportedly pulled over on Sunday night.

“We have released Da’Rick Rogers for conduct detrimental,” Pagano said, according to Chappell. “We’ve released him. Would be inappropriate to speak further on that.”
According to a police report obtained by Pro Football Talk, police pulled Rogers over at 3:35 a.m. local time in downtown Indianapolis after they witnessed his car straying over the yellow line. He registered between a .08 and .15 blood alcohol content in a breathalyzer test.
Rogers, who had been listed as inactive every game this season, led the SEC in receiving yards and receptions as a sophomore at Tennessee in 2011, but was suspended by the team after failing a drug test and eventually transferred to Tennessee Tech. He went undrafted last year but made his way onto the Colts roster after spending training camp and the preseason in Buffalo. He played in five games and started three, tallying 14 receptions for 192 yards and two touchdowns.
