Remember that time Richard Sherman made a speech about how you shouldn’t test him? (We’re paraphrasing.) Well, we guess the Packers were listening:
The Packers didn’t throw at Richard Sherman once
Next time somebody should give him a magazine or something so he can pass the time.
Aaron Rodgers threw the ball 33 times, and not one toss went Sherman’s way. They weren’t going anywhere near him.
Some pointed out that Sherman spent the whole night on a side of a field rather than on the Packers’ top receiver, Jordy Nelson, and that this meant he wasn’t up against the stiffest competition. The stat here kinda speaks for itself, though: Sherman took an entire side of the football field out of the Packers’ repertoire. We’re going to go out on a limb and say that this made things a whole lot easier for the Seahawks’ defense.
Week 1, Packers Vs. Seahawks
Even if Richard Sherman didn’t get thrown at, he had a huge impact on the Seahawks’ commanding win.
