The Buffalo Bills are a promising young team, with a stout defense and potential on offense. The future may be bright, but that doesn't mean they have much of a chance against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. NFL experts are nearly unanimous that the Bears will win when they host the Bills during Sunday's early slate.
NFL picks and predictions 2014: Bears heavy favorites over Bills
The Bears are heavy favorites heading into kickoff, with the Internet at a near-consensus that a young Bills offense will flounder on the road.

All seven members of SB Nation’s panel of NFL experts took Marc Trestman’s Bears to win. The game was one of five about which the panel was in complete agreement.
| Week 1 | Ryan Van Bibber | Stephen White | Joel Thorman | Matt Ufford | David Fucillo | Danny Kelly | PFT Commenter |
| Bills at Bears | Bears | Bears | Bears | Bears | Bears | Bears | Bears |
Though the Bears still have a few questions to answer on defense, the offense may be preparing a dominant season. Either one of Brandon Marshall or Alshon Jeffery would be No. 1 targets on several NFL teams, and the fact that they're on the same roster seems unfair. Matt Forte, meanwhile, gives quarterback Jay Cutler a nifty security blanket out of the backfield.
The consensus held at NFL.com, ESPN and CBS Sports. The Bears are roughly a touchdown favorite over the Bills heading into kickoff, according to OddsShark.com. But even against the spread (as 7.5-point dogs), the CBS panel can’t bring itself to support Buffalo.
