Jadeveon Clowney to miss 4-6 weeks with torn meniscus, per report
The worst has been confirmed for the Texans: Their star pass rusher could miss up to six weeks with a torn meniscus suffered during Sunday’s win over Washington.

Luckily for the Texans, their pass rush should be fine with 2012 Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt still manning one end of the defensive line. The injury hurts a defense-oriented team as a whole, however. Clowney is expected to be a pivotal piece of the Texans' turnaround from an awful 2013 season.
Selected No. 1 overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, Clowney was outstanding in the preseason, and made an impact against Washington with a 9-yard tackle for loss. He was held in check otherwise, though he played less than a half’s worth of snaps.
Earlier reports indicated that Clowney would undergo more testing Monday. The Texans will be hoping for better news after Rapoport’s initial report.
