Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson tore his ACL Saturday night against the Carolina Panthers, according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports. Richardson limped off the field with a left knee injury during the team's Divisional playoff game. He previously tore the same ACL in 2012 while at the University of Colorado.
Paul Richardson has torn ACL
The rookie wideout will miss the NFC Championship against the Packers.

Richardson came down awkwardly after colliding with a defender on an incomplete pass early in the third quarter. He remained down for several minutes while trainers appeared to be inspecting his leg, but eventually walked off under his own power.
It had taken the rookie a while to get acclimated to the Seahawks’ offense, but his production had been steadily increasing as of late. He hauled in five receptions in each of Seattle’s last two regular season games and chipped in a 21-yard catch against the Panthers.
Jermaine Kearse led Seattle with 129 receiving yards Saturday night, but Richardson's injury gives Russell Wilson one fewer target to rely on next week when the Seahawks host the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship.
Update: The Seahawks have confirmed the rookie suffered a torn ACL, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
