2015 NFL playoffs schedule and bracket: Packers to meet Seahawks for NFC Championship
A gimpy Aaron Rodgers was able to lead the Packers over the Cowboys at home. Now he’ll prepare to face the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game.
The NFC Championship game is set: The Green Bay Packers were able to soldier past Aaron Rodgers' injured calf to beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. For their efforts, they advance to face the No. 1 seed Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field next week. The Packers last won the NFC four years ago before beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV.
The Seahawks loom after decimating the Carolina Panthers on Saturday night. Russell Wilson was steady and Seattle's defense spectacular in the 31-17 win. The Seahawks are likely favorites to win next week, and advance to their second straight Super Bowl.
The New England Patriots await the winner of Colts-Broncos on Sunday in the AFC Championship game. The Patriots won a thriller in Foxboro on Saturday, beating the Baltimore Ravens, 35-31. Tom Brady was spectacular in the second half, but the Ravens were able to expose a banged up offense line. Whoever emerges from Sunday's game in Denver, expect next week's AFC Championship game to be a fun one.
