NFL playoff injuries: Aaron Rodgers probable, Vontae Davis questionable

The Packers star should be ready to go, but the news isn’t as good for the Colts, who could be without two starting cornerbacks against Tom Brady.

Aaron Rodgers is still a bit hobbled by his calf injury, but the Seattle Seahawks aren't taking him lightly in the lead-up to the NFC Championship.

"I saw him scramble close to the goal line on the Cowboys," Seattle safety Earl Thomas told NFL.com, "so he's not fooling me with that."

For the record, Thomas wasn't accusing the Green Bay Packers' quarterback of faking an injury. But after watching Rodgers lead Green Bay to a second-half comeback over the Cowboys last week, he's not buying into the fact that Rodgers is any less dangerous.

The Seahawks have injury issues of their own, particularly along the offensive line. Starting center Max Unger and starting right tackle Justin Britt are both on the injury report, though Unger is listed as probable and, according to Pete Carroll, should be "fine" to play on Sunday. Britt, however, is listed as questionable and is expected to be a gametime decision.

On the AFC side of things, the Indianapolis Colts' secondary could be in trouble against Tom Brady if starting cornerbacks Vontae Davis and Greg Toler, who are both listed as questionable, can't go. It sounds as though both will suit up on Sunday, but any limitations could be disastrous for an Indianapolis team that's been blown out in their last three games against the New England Patriots.

Working in the Colts' favor is the fact that Patriots starting center Bryan Stork has been ruled inactive, which could make it easier for the Indy defense to get pressure up the middle on Brady. Stork, a rookie who has started 13 games this season, injured his knee last week against the Baltimore Ravens. Guard Ryan Wendell will slide over to take his place.
