The Packers appeared to have taken a 7-0 lead on the Seahawks on a fullback dive by John Kuhn, but after looking at the play again, the referees said the runners’ elbow hit the ground before the ball crossed the plane of the end zone:
John Kuhn’s touchdown overturned, Packers settle for early field goal
After further review, the refs decided Kuhn’s elbow hit the ground before the ball crossed the goal line.
This play probably isn’t going to generate a ton of controversy like overturned calls in previous playoff games -- Kuhn’s arm looks to be down pretty clearly.
The Packers still had a chance to score on third down, but Eddie Lacy was stopped short. Mike McCarthy opted not to go for it on fourth down from less than a foot away, settling for a field goal and three points instead of seven.
