Earl Thomas dislocated his shoulder in the NFC Championship, but the Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas plans to play in the Super Bowl, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Earl Thomas will play in the Super Bowl, per report
The Seahawks will need Earl Thomas to help slow down a red-hot Patriots offense.

Thomas temporarily left the game against the Green Bay Packers after hurting his shoulder while attempting to make a tackle. The All-Pro safety immediately went to the sideline wincing in pain before eventually going to the locker room. He returned in the second quarter and helped Seattle rally past the Packers, 28-22.
After the game, Thomas told ESPN he wasn't going to let his injury keep him from helping the Seahawks reach the Super Bowl.
“I know who I am, I’m a warrior, bro,” Thomas said. “If I can play I don’t care if I can’t function really well. I know if I can help the team I’m going to be in there.”
Thomas will have a little time to rest up before the Seahawks take on the New England Patriots on Feb. 1. Thomas finished the 2014 regular season with 97 tackles, three forced fumbles and one interception while playing in all 16 games. He’s never missed a game in his five-year NFL career.
