Pro Bowl 2015: Jordin Sparks singing national anthem

Pro Bowl festivities!

It's no Super Bowl, but the Pro Bowl is still a good opportunity for singers to show off their pipes. The national anthem for this year's all-star game in Glendale, Ariz. will be Grammy Award winning artist and former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks.

Sparks, who is from Glendale, is best known for her appearance on American Idol in 2007 and for hit songs like “A Broken Wing,” “This Is My Now,” “Tattoo,” “No Air” and “One Step at a Time.” Her singing of the Pro Bowl national anthem is one of several events in her annual Jordin Sparks Experience in Glendale, which also includes an appearance with Entertainment Tonight and a night club party.

ESPN will broadcast the game live from University of Phoenix Stadium this Sunday beginning at 8 p.m. ET. It probably won’t be very exciting. But if you’re a Jordin Sparks fan, at least you have the national anthem to look forward to.
