With the Pro Bowl out of the way, we're now officially less than a week away from Super Bowl 49 between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. The teams are rested, the Patriots have done their best to move past the ball-deflating scandal with a press conference on Saturday, and we have nothing left to look forward to outside of the big game.
Super Bowl schedule 2015: Media Day, NFL Honors show highlight week leading up to big game
Super Bowl Media Day and the NFL Honors show are both events you should check out prior to the Super Bowl on Feb. 1.

Except, of course, the massive amount of things worth checking out in the week leading up to that game. The two biggest events are NFL Media Day on Tuesday and the NFL Honors show on Sat,, Jan. 31.
Thousands of credentialed media members will travel to the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix for Media Day. Fans can attend the event by purchasing tickets, where they can ... sit and watch the media interview members of both the Seahawks and the Patriots. Whatever the case, it should be interesting given some of the players involved, including Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch, who has been fined more than once for eschewing his media responsibilities.
The NFL Honors show will be held at Symphony Hall in the Phoenix Convention Center on the eve of the Super Bowl. The league will hand out the Most Valuable Player, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Rookie of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year and Coach of the Year.
Outside of those marquee events, those in and around Glendale, Ariz. should check out the NFL Experience at the aforementioned convention center. There are autograph sessions, youth football clinics, games and other entertainment, the details of which we covered once already here.
It all leads up to the Super Bowl itself, which is set for Feb. 1 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
