Jermaine Gresham out against Colts
Gresham finished the year as the third-leading receiver for the Bengals.
The Cincinnati Bengals will be without tight end Jermaine Gresham Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts due to a back injury suffered in Week 17, the team announced.
Gresham finished the regular season as the third-leading receiver for the Bengals, who will also be without top wide receiver A.J. Green Sunday. Gresham finished the season with 62 receptions for 460 yards and five touchdowns, which all came in the last six games he played in 2014.
After fighting through the injury for most of the game in Week 17, Gresham was listed as questionable for the Wild Card round against the Colts and did not practice all week. Without Green and Gresham in the lineup, Kevin Brock will likely start for the Bengals at tight end and the team's top receiving target will be Mohamed Sanu.
The Colts’ defense finished the year with the 12th-ranked passing attack and 18th-ranked rushing attack, while the Bengals finished with the second-most rushing touchdowns and 22nd-most passing touchdowns.
