NFL picks and predictions, Chargers vs. Packers 2015: Experts unanimous in picking Green Bay

The 5-0 Packers are heavy favorites to down the 2-3 Chargers on Sunday.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was less than perfect against the St. Louis Rams in Week 5. In fact, Rodgers struggled big time in the game, and it would have cost the Packers dearly if they were playing against a better team.

Rodgers completed just 19 of 30 passes for 241 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He was sacked twice and posted a Total QBR of 41.1. He was barely assisted by his running game, too, as Eddie Lacy had just 27 yards and James Starks put up 17 yards. Rodgers led the way in rushing for the Packers, with eight carries for 39 yards.

Still, Green Bay won that game, 24-10, and is undefeated on the season. The Packers are heading into a game against the San Diego Chargers in Week 6, a team that has had more than its fair share of struggles this season. San Diego has played in multiple close games -- they've been on the losing end of three of them and have narrowly won the other two.

Lesser quarterbacks than Rodgers have been able to beat San Diego's secondary this year, and in Week 5 it was Mike Vick who bested them. The Chargers may not roll over for him, but Rodgers likely views the Chargers as a bounce-back opportunity. He'll have to out-gun Philip Rivers, who has been good this season. Rivers leads the league's second-most productive passing offense, throwing for 318 yards per game. San Diego ranks third in total offense with 410 yards per game.

Going against the Chargers is the fact that the Packers have been excellent this season. The defense hasn’t always played well, but when Rodgers struggles, they have been able to pick up the pieces. Green Bay has also won its last 12 games at Lambeau Field (including playoffs), the league’s longest active home win streak.

Unsurprisingly, experts across the Internet are picking the Packers to win on Sunday. Over at CBS Sports, all eight of their experts are going with Green Bay, and all 13 of the experts at ESPN are in agreement. Here at SB Nation, all seven experts are going with the Packers to win as well. The OddsShark computer is also in agreement, completing the shutout.
