Karlos Williams, the powerful and talented Bills rookie running back, will miss his second straight game this week, the team announced. Buffalo has leaned on the fifth-round pick out of Florida State recently in the wake of LeSean McCoy's hamstring injury, but Williams suffered a concussion Week 4 against the New York Giants and has not yet been cleared to return to the field.

The Bills will have LeSean McCoy back, but will be without Karlos Williams in Week 6.

Fortunately for the Bills, McCoy, who has missed the team’s last two games with a hamstring injury, is expected to return to the field. That means Buffalo will not be forced to rely on backups Anthony “Boobie” Dixon and Dan “Boom” Herron, like they did Week 5 against the Titans.
In that game, Dixon totaled just 19 yards on seven carries. Herron rushed for 28 yards on nine carries in his first game with the Bills.
Williams is averaging 5.4 yards per carry on 42 attempts and has scored four touchdowns in four games, despite seeing limited playing time. In three games this season, McCoy has 146 yards on the ground and seven catches for 83 yards and a receiving touchdown.
