Yeldon picked up the injury in the Jaguars' Week 5 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He returned to practice on Thursday this week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. Yeldon is not 100 percent yet, but the Jaguars need the rookie running back if they want to break their losing streak.
A second-round pick out of the University of Alabama in the 2015 NFL Draft, Yeldon has rushed for 291 yards in five games, averaging just 3.6 yards per carry. He's added 15 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Yeldon hasn't quite lived up to his billing, but has shown good things and the Jaguars are giving him every chance to be the workhorse back. Even at less than 100 percent, he's an upgrade on the committee duo of Toby Gerhart and Denard Robinson, which combined for just 45 rushing yards last week.
