Cardinals vs. Browns 2015 picks and predictions: Arizona is the unanimous pick in Week 8

Because, Cleveland.

The Arizona Cardinals are heading to Northern Ohio on a short week to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 8. Despite coming off a Monday Night Football appearance, the Cardinals are favored, and it'll take a lot for the Browns to get the upset.

The Cardinals' offense can attack through the air and on the ground. Carson Palmer has thrown for more than 2,000 yards already this season, with 16 touchdowns and only five interceptions. Receivers Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown have a combined 1,184 yards and nine touchdowns to lead the offense.

Meanwhile, Chris Johnson, Andre Ellington and David Johnson have pounded through opponents. The three have a combined 832 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the ground and are also viable receiving targets with a total of 302 yards.

The team has to be effective on offense because it can't rely on the kicking game to get points. Chandler Catanzaro missed a 55-yard field goal and a point after attempt last week, and the team also had a blocked punt.

The Cardinals' defense struggled last week against the Ravens, but was able to hold them late in the game. Getting off the field on third down was an issue at times -- the unit allowed three conversions early leading to the first score of the game -- but safety Tony Jefferson also came up with an interception in the end zone to cap off the win. The Cardinals' secondary could be a big issue for the Browns.

Cleveland's two wins this season against the Titans and Ravens weren't exactly impressive, and did little to bolster a team that was, yet again, thinking "this is our year." Quarterback Josh McCown was sidelined late in Week 7 against the Rams, leaving backup Johnny Manziel at the helm. McCown is expected to be back as starter against the Cardinals, but the offense will need its wideouts to step up and secure the ball, and also block when needed.

On Cleveland's second offensive drive against the Rams, receiver Taylor Gabriel fumbled following a missed block by Travis Benjamin. Turnovers were an unfortunate recurrence during last Sunday's outing, with three leading to 17 of the Rams' 24 points. Because of four fumbles and questionable penalties (11 for 98 yards), the Browns weren't able to get in the end zone at all in Week 7.

None of the experts at CBS Sports are picking Cleveland over Arizona in Week 8. Here at SB Nation, our experts agree that the Cardinals will leave town with the win.
