The Green Bay Packers will try to get back on track at home against a Detroit Lions team that has never been on track at any point this season. The Lions haven't won at Lambeau Field since 1991, and not many people expect that streak to end this year.

This one could get ugly.
At 1-7, the Lions are blowing everything up -- again. General manager Martin Mayhew was swept out of the front office during the bye week, and several offensive coaches were fired a week before that. With all the sudden changes in personnel, it seems likely that head coach Jim Caldwell is a lame duck.
A nonexistent running game and regression by Matthew Stafford have been the biggest culprits for Detroit's collapse. At the same time, the defense is 26th in yards allowed per game and dead last in points allowed per game. It has been an all-around failure on both sides on the ball, and there are few positives to point out.
The Packers have looked somewhat mortal in recent weeks, losing two in a row after getting off to a 6-0 start. Of course, those losses came to the Denver Broncos (7-1) and Carolina Panthers (8-0), both on the road, so they're explainable. After getting shut down by the Broncos' defense, Aaron Rodgers looked closer to his old self in Week 9, rallying the Packers back from a 37-14 deficit before succumbing late.
On paper, this is a big mismatch, and the only real concern for the Packers will be avoiding a trap game ahead of a crucial showdown with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. Predictably, there are not a lot of people willing to pick Detroit. Only one writer at CBS Sports has the Lions winning, while our panel here at SB Nation has a clean sweep for the Packers.
