Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is active against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night Football. Lynch was a surprise addition to the injury report on Friday, when the Seahawks listed him as questionable with an abdominal injury.
Marshawn Lynch active for Seahawks vs. Cardinals
Lynch was a surprise addition to the injury report but he is active for Sunday night’s game.

Lynch did not practice on Wednesday, but the Seahawks insisted it wasn’t injury related and he was a full participant on Thursday. He did not take part in Friday’s session, though. Head coach Pete Carroll had a positive outlook on Lynch’s chances to play when he met with the media on Friday, however.
It's been a rough year for Lynch. The powerful running back has played in six games and is averaging just 3.6 yards per carry. He has 103 carries for 375 yards, and only eclipsed the 100-yard mark in a single game this season. That game was against the lowly San Francisco 49ers, and Lynch managed 122 yards on 27 carries. He is coming off a 71-yard performance against the Dallas Cowboys in his last game.
Lynch is coming off his fourth consecutive dominant season with the Seahawks. He had 1,306 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns last season, all supporting a per-carry average of 4.7 yards. Undrafted rookie Thomas Rawls actually leads the Seahawks with 376 yards rushing.
