The Cincinnati Bengals are undefeated and running away with the AFC North, while the Houston Texans are floundering with a 3-5 record in the NFL's worst division. It should come as no surprise that experts are unanimously taking the Bengals to improve to 9-0 with a win on Monday Night Football.
Texans vs. Bengals 2015 picks and predictions: No experts taking Houston
All of the experts at CBS Sports, ESPN and SB Nation are taking the Bengals to improve to 9-0 on Monday night.
After years of criticisms, Andy Dalton has finally turned a corner and is second in the NFL in passer rating with an 111.0, thanks to 18 touchdowns and four interceptions. While questions of postseason performance will follow the Bengals until January, for now they're a well-oiled machine that is tearing through opponents.
But the Texans have begun to resemble the team that they entered 2015 with hopes of being. After 10 turnovers and a 1-4 record in the first five games, Houston has won two of their last three with just one turnover.
Still, not a single expert at CBS Sports or at ESPN is taking the Texans to pull the upset and that has more to do with how great the Bengals have been than the subpar play of Houston. Only two teams have scored more points than Cincinnati and only three have allowed fewer points.
SB Nation’s team is siding unanimously with Cincinnati, as well. The entire panel is taking the Bengals to improve to 9-0.
